guts

Directed by Margaux Susi

Produced by Grayson Propst

United States | English | 11' | Fiction

Desperate for help, a woman in recovery asks an unlikely stranger on a dinner date.

Amelia is struggling during a seemingly ordinary moment of life. Her neighbor extends a lifeline by just being present. Aren’t those the most meaningful moments though? A stranger offering empathy and kindness. I’ve never seen this story told in this way and I loved it. The acting is stellar and the directing-even better, if that’s possible. Life is complex and so are humans but connection is simple. GUTS is all of this. — Elle Shaw, Executive Director
