Alice is 27 years old today. Even though she is suffocating a bit, she still lives with her parents and tends to live in her dreams to escape her dreary everyday life. After a psychedelic party on a factory roof, she has a serious drunken bike accident. Will this give her the courage to become an adult?'

While films about 20-somethings moving back in with their parents are well-trodden ground, 27 stands out as an absolute gem, expertly capturing that feeling of being alive, in heat, pulsing with life, and yet trapped in the confines of your childhood room, with your kid brother interrupting every attempt at alone time. Every frame of this gorgeously animated film is a piece of art in its own right - I want to print them all out and hang them up on my wall. Director Flóra Anna BUDA is an exceptional talent, and I can’t wait to see what she does next. — Kath Tolentino, Programmer
