An artist, upon selling his most valuable painting, must reckon with the fate of his work.
How can one film simultaneously be a visual delight and my worst nightmare? Writer/Director Creston Whittington indulges our senses with his vivid colors and stylized approach. His characters are paradoxically warm and cold, cool and awkward, strange and familiar. The brilliance of this film is the constant seesaw of tension it rides between opposing forces, and that dichotomy perfectly encapsulates what it’s like to be an artist who is vulnerable enough to share their work with an audience. I cannot wait to share this one with ours!
