A seventeen year old sex-positive YouTuber starts a social media war against her Christian abstinence program.
Director Kate Hackett made this feel so personal while also making a broader comment on the role of social media in our cultural battles. Though I enjoyed this film when I first saw it, I had to sit with it to really see how I felt. It definitely has aftertaste. Being an adult that grew up in church culture, I can see this film from multiple angles. This film is sure to open up dialogue on how we talk to young adults about their bodies and sexuality and how we handle this new world of social media.
