THE 410 (PILOT EPISODE)

Renuka Jeyapalan

Hard-boiled noir meets hipster chill in this tale of familial strife and vigilante justice. Desperate to bail her father out of jail, Suri (Indian, blonde and bougie) comes face-to-face with the criminal underworld that operates inside her seemingly quiet suburban community.

*THE 410 is a three-part series. Only pilot episode is being played at the 2020 Salute Your Shorts Film Festival

THE 410 is filled with complex characters and plot twists. And, I’m here for it. Renuka Jeyapalan simultaneously cracks open her culture and an underworld while she reels you in. I’ll be on the lookout because I want to see the next episode. — Elle S (Programmer)
