MAUDE
Toby Frow
Retired housewife Maude feels trapped in her existence. Hope comes in a letter saying she has won a cruise. Maude imagines escaping with Henry, her local shopkeeper. As her daydreams become more bizarre her fantasy world becomes muddled with life.
Stellar performances and a well crafted film! In this stroll through Maude’s everyday life, director Toby Frow reminds us that dreams aren’t just for the young. — Becky M (Festival Director)
