DANNY'S GIRL
Emily Wilson
Danny, a lovable spazoid, meets his online girlfriend for the first time but accidentally discovers an unspeakable possession of hers. This throws their first night together into a dizzying tailspin as we watch it escalate into comedy of errors.
What starts out as an already incredibly awkward date between two very sweaty people gets taken to astronomical new heights when you least expect it. Then there’s a butternut squash and an iguana and some scary moments that resolve with a perfect Aristotelian ending: surprising… yet inevitable. I sincerely wish that somewhere in a parallel universe Danny and his girl actually exist and are living out their happy, super weird life together. — Kath T. (Programmer)
